Middlesex: Penguin Books, 1973. Third Revised Edition. Red Cloth. Very Good/No Wrapper. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Illustrated. Type: Z xxixpp; 485pp and 200 pages full of b/w plates being reproductions of the art in Italy. A lovely copy of this book in slipcase. Leather title block with gilt embossed lettering to the spine and a vignette to the front board. Numeorus line drawings and architectural plans in the text. There is a little fraying to the edges of the leather title block and slight scattered soil spots to the boards. Some page corners have been neatly turned and there a few marginaly notes in pencil and a few crossmarks in biro to the odd page. The textblock is otherwise clean and tight. No wrapper but comes in original slipcase. The slicpase is tight and firm with some rubbing to the edges. Coloue pictorial sides to the slipcase. A very good copy.
