Dark tan softcover boards have Song darker brown text to the front cover. Boards and spine are in very good condition with slight blemishes but no wear to cover or corners. "Somewhere in France" and some numbers written on front cover and previous owner inscription "To Little Sister from Frank" on rear cover. All binding staples are in place. Text block is solid with all pages firmly attached. Age tanning throughout. All interior pages are clean with no tears, cracks, or previous owner marks. 90 pages plus index of songs and two black and white photographs Dimensions: H – 3– 3/4" W – 5
Booklet includes military illustrations and songs well known today: The Star-Spangled Banner, America, Battle Hymn of the Republic, America the Beautiful, as well as many well-known military and southern songs (less in favor today) but equally many songs that have fallen out of common knowledge.
