A study of Chaim Arlosoroff, a Russian emigré to Palestine in the 1920s where he quickly became one of the leaders of Mapai, the Labour Zionist Party and a bitter opponent of the revisionist principles of Jabotinsky. He was assassinated, aged 34, while walking with his wife in Tel Aviv. renowned for his wide interests and his skills in guiding his students to what he saw as the reality he demonstrated. He was a Zionist but a Zionist who properly understood the rights of the Palestinians to the same historic lands and who sought compromise rather that aggression or war.
