Blue cloth with faded gilt embossed title. 340pp, 4 color and profuse bw plates & illustrations throughout text. Text is in Russian. A beautiful tour of the city, arranged street by street. Each section has a small map noting specific locations along with text material about the area. With photographs of individual buildings and statues, close-up shots of doorways and facades, and panoramic views of the river and avenues. Includes a bit of historical essay material, a few additional small maps, artistic renderings, archictect biographies some interior views, and so much more.
