London: Richard Bentley & Son, 1879. Half-Leather. Near Very Good. Edwards, M. Ellen. Each monthly Issue from Jan. to June 1879 bound in one volume. Frontis isd a full page B&W Illustration. Includes the serial story "Called to the Rescue" Illustrated with Full-Page Plates by M. Ellen Edwards. Articles include "Cornwall and the Devon Coast" with Sixteen In-Text Illustrations by Charles W. Wood. Also "A Tomb in a Foreign Land" by the Author of East Lynne. Contempoeary Red Half-Leather Binding with 5 Raised Bands to spine. Gilt Title on brown ground in 2nd compartment and Gilt Date in 4th. Spine colour faded to brown. Some edge wear and rubbing to boards. A few small spots of foxing to first few pages but only an occasional spot elsewhere. "Putney" penciled on backof title page, no other inscriptions. Pages and Plates in very good condition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall
