NY: Platt & Munk, 1966. (1st thus). Hardbound. VERY GOOD/ Good+. Tight, bright, clean and square. Faint shading to exterior page edges. Fading to top and bottom edges of covers. Dust Jacket is clean and intact, but price clipped with 2 @ 1/2" clean rips - 1 on the top edge of the front cover and the other on the bottom of the back flap. "Sultan's armies clashing on Eastern plains, heroes forced to slay a monster or a wicked magician, genii, fairies, sorcerers..." the stories Sheherazade invented to save her life "night after night, for a thousand and one nights..." This collection has the best of these stories, some familiar and others less frequently reprinted. 319 pages.
