New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1909. Cloth. Good. Black cloth with a pictorial pastedown illustration on the front cover, by Maxfield Parrish. 339 pages. With 12 color illustrated plates by Parrish, all present as called for. Early printing (first thus) of this classic mythology combined with distinctive Maxfield Parrish illustrations. GOOD condition. General fading and scuffing to the cloth, with minor soiling, and some discoloration to the rear cover. Moderate toning and scuffing to the cover pastedown. Minor soiling. Light edgewear. Minor toning to the paper.
