Green cloth with gilt lettering and illustration on the front board and gilt lettering on the spine. Decorative endpapers. 409 historical and informative pages nicely enhanced by black and white photographs and illustrations and approximately 130 half-tone and color plates! Extremely rare and hard-to-find first edition!
