New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1967. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Translated by Gregory Rabassa. Very Good in a Very Good jacket, unclipped ($5.95), rubbed and with some bumps and tears at the edges. Green buckram with green and red ink designs, gilt lettering on the spine. Square and firmly bound with a red top stain, some tidemarks at the top, clean internally. Lispector's first novel to be translated into English, the story of a man on the run who believes he murdered his wife.
