Copyright 1872, This With 1873 Date On Title Page So Apparently A Second Printing. Bound In 1924 By J. B. Shippam (Hand Signed), In Full Pebbled Leather, Five Bands, Spine Stamped (Probably Once Gilt But Now Just Slightly Yellow), Surreal Red And Black Marbled Endpapers. Map At Front And At Least One Plate Neatly Reinforced At Edge And Tipped In With Paper Mounts But Undamaged Otherwise. Pages With Original Red Publisher's Color. Contents Clean, No Foxing, Page Block Square, A Few Blue Pencil (Erasable) Marks. Very Large Bookplate Of Edward T. Guynon Jr., With Photograph Of Their Living Room; In The 1890S, Edward T. "E.T." Guymon, President Of The Inter-State Land And Town Company, Purchased A Section Of Land West Of The Beaver River, Also Known As The North Canadian River. The Site Grew Very Rapidly After The Chicago, Rock Island And Pacific Railway (Rock Island) Built A Line From Liberal, Kansas To Texhoma, Texas In 1901. Inscribed Christmas 1923; Later Bookplate Of "The Heathcotes".
