London: Printed for Vernor and Hood, Poultry, J. Storer [Etc]. Good+. 1804. First Edition. Hardcover. Early 1/2 dark maroon morocco over marbled boards. Five spine bands with ornate gilte decoration & lettering. [xii, 377pp, 10]. Embellished with twenty-four steel engraved plates. Front internal hinge has paper tears: the binding of the text block is tight and firm with all pages & covers securely attached. Internally the pages are clean and bright with the occasional odd spot. Last 2 leaves have a small damp stain on upper corner. Lightly edge rubbed. Early owners signature dated 1874 & small bookplate. From WorldCat: "extracted largely from the 'Origines juridiciales' of Sir William Dugdale, published in folio in 1666, 1667 and 1680". Law, England. ; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 377 pages .
