New York: Random House, 1937. G/G-. 1st/1st. First American edition, published in England originally as "Antigua Penny Puce". Stated First Edition with no other printing. Book, with a paste-on postage stamp on the front cover, is tight and square with solid hinges. First owner's name, town and Dec 1938 on inside front board. Mild soiling, fading and bumped corners. Dust jacket is unclipped ($2.50) and Good- with assorted chips, tears, fading and wear (see photos.) Tape used on the back of the dust jacket. 326 pages. Protected in a Brodart cover. Classic novel that has elements of crime fiction and the added spice of stamp collecting thrown into the mix. Scarce in any edition, especially with dust jacket. From the author of I, Claudius.
