About This Item
Houghton Mifflin and Company, Boston and New York, 1902. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. Book in two volumes, both in good condition. Minor foxing in front and rear fly pages, clean text throughout. Tight spine. Green boards with slight fraying at the top and bottom of spine. Paper labels on spine with name and volume number. Former library copies with stamps inside, and library marking on spine. Most likely hardly read, as text is clean and there are still uncut pages at the top in the book. First edition. James Russell wrote anti-slavery poetry. He believed that the poet played an important role as a prophet and critic in society. Please reach out with any question. We are happy to send photos!
