Of interest largely for the wide range of scholarly papers drawing on the collections of the Smitsonian. See list of papers below. A very fat volume, soundly bound in original cloth. Cloth dulled and dust soiled but the binding is sound and the contents clean. Profusely illustrated with a range of plates produced in various forms, including lithographs, gravure, half-tone and woodcut. Binding a little shaken as expected; moderate dark spill stain top edge does not affect the flat page surface.
