Brown cloth cpver has black and gold decoration that is clear and bright, some rubbing and scratches. The edges are rubbed, the corners are bumped and slightly frayed. Page edge gilding is clean and bright with some minor marks and scratches. Spine and binding are slightly shaken but intact, may have been repaired. Endpapers are a white textured satin paper with smudges and minor soiling. Many pages have some soiling and finger smudges at the edges, text and images are still clear. Tip-in illustrations are clean and bright. There are several differences between the color illustration list and the tip-ins that are present.
