London: S. W. Partridge and Co., 1888. Issued by the royal society for the prevention of cruelty to animals. Red cloth binding is soiled, grubby, dampstained and faded. Edges chipped. Damsptaining extends to rear endpapers and base edge of rear pages but doesn't affect content. Period prize presentation inscription to ffep, some child doodling in ink to front pastedown. some wear to the edges of the pages, occasional tear and smudge marks etc but content remains clean and clear. Some lovely illus.. Cloth. Fair/No Jacket. Folio.
