London: H. G. Bohn , 1859. Handsomely bound in full polished calf, intricate gilt back , marbled end papers and edges, stamp-signed "Huches & Kemp Binders Oxford" bottom edge verso front end page. Very Good Plus, front board top 1" slight fading, boards lightly rubbed and soiled, moderate foxining at first few end pages front and rear but clean of foxing internally. Presentation inscription front end page dated 1865 gifting the book to a fellow Etonian on leaving the school. New Edition, Thoroughly Revised and Partially Re-Written. . Uncommon in commerce in contemporary fine binding. . New Edition. Polished Calf. Very Good Plus/No Jacket, As Issued. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
