In splendid original condition this 1888 hardcover First Edition is bound in perfect black cloth with bright, silver titiles to front board and spine: Condition all VG. 1V/96pp+20pp Publisher's Catalogue. With Preface, 5 Chapters, 51 engraved illustrations set in text, plu clean flower decorated endpapers. Tiny bown stain at foot of front endpapers and also affecting prelim pages: stain is 3cm x 4mm. Custom-made clear plastic mylar jacket. Enclosed a bill from Henry Southeran showing on e of their customers paid £148 for this book in March 2002. Condition VG . Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. 1888.
