First Edition. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. 288pp with 2pp of publishers ads.200 illustrations, including 39 in colour. A most beautiful tome. Reproductions of paintings by famous artists of fishing, fishermen and rivers. Color fade to spine and some fade to edges, shelfwear to back cover but all in all the buckram has a handsome patina, small bump to lower corner. Firm and clean with no inscriptions..
