The work is divided into three parts: the first discussing the counties of Great Britain and their respective rivers and waters; the second contains descriptions of the various fish, habits, bait, etc.; and third, a list of artifical flies, "the completest collection every yet known". (Westwood & Satchell 205-06). Light shelf/edge wear, touch of toning at the spine, ownership bookplate at front pastedown, ownership inscription at the bastard title (1810); else tight, bright, and unmarred. Halfbound, red leather spine and tips, five raised bands, gilt lettering and decorative elements, marbled pebbled cloth boards, marbled endpages. 8vo. 298pp plus np adverts [6pp].
