Text is bordered at leading edge with black double lines. A boy and his friend set out on a journey from their Thomasville, North Carolina, home to find a special doll for his little sister. White boards with gilt titles on spine. A little spotting of cover, minor edge wear with some bumping of corners and spine ends, small stains on end papers, signed by author in center title page, interior pages bright and clean, binding tight. Illustrated white dust jacket with gilt titles on front cover and spine has a little spotting, short tears at top of front cover jacket, light tanning, $14.95 price not clipped.
