New York: J F Taylor, 1902 Yellow cloth pictorially stamped in red & black, cover soil and extremity wear, gift inscription, a few corner bends and slightly shaken binding, occasional finger soil. Overall, a nice copy of a scarce fantasy about a little boy whose rag doll confidant comes to life and whisks him away to a land where all the toys are sentient beings. Illustrated with fanciful b&w artwork throughout. Not in Baumgarten.. First Edition. Pictorial Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Louis M Glackens. 8vo.
