Condition notes: a good to very good copy of a handsome edition: light wear to unclipped dj; spine ends rolled, corners sharp; interior shows former owner's stamp to head of ffep, and library pocket glued to rear free endpaper, else no ex-library markings; interior text shows numerous pp with light pencil (only) underlining and notes. Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in an old farmhouse full of books. Paul had been providing online booksales since 2008 through several popular online sales venues. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).
