Former owner's name in ink to front fly, marking scratched out on verso of same. Pictoral frontis; illustrated with B/W plates. Interior tight and clean; a serviceable reading copy. good to very good The author travelled to the Loyalty Islands and spent time gathering their folktales and narratives. Quite scarce. 1920
