Hardcover - undated - Reproduced from the original edition published in 1873. This Limited Edition of "Among the Isles of Shoals" has been sponsored by many prominent New England families listed on the first 4 pages. This particular copy belonged to iss Grace L. Pennock of Tamworth NH and is number 123. This edition has floral cloth covered boards with title in a paste-on rectangle with black lettering carried thru to the spine. Fabric has lightly soiled edges and spine with no wear. Interior pages are clean, bright, unmarked and warmly age toned. Miss Pennock's hand written name & date (June, 1959) appear in pencil on the front free end page. We are unable to locate another which makes this a very rare, unique book.
