About This Item
London: Futura, 1976. Book. About Very Good. Soft cover. 1st Edition. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. Paperback original. In tropical Africa a biologist and a film producer, joined, of course, by a "pretty production assistant," hear about "the legend of a giant beast, rampaging across the country, destroying everything in its path." Naturally, "A trail of dead animals with crushed skulls and broken backs" eventually sees the pretty one accepted as a live sacrifice by the rampaging beast in question. Tension ensues. Ross is a pseudonym of Ken Follett. 219 pages + four pages of advertisements for other Futura titles. Mildly cocked, crease to top right corner of front cover, bumped top left corner of same, moderate edgewear, grey remainder stripe across bottom edge, light general wear. Internally fairly tight and clean. Uncommon..
