The Bobbs-Merrill Company, 1905. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. with "April" on the copyright page. (Johnson, "American First editions", p 207). Bound in 3/4 brown Morocco over marbled boards, 5 raised bands on lighter toned spine, spine compartments stamped in gilt, top edges gilt, marbled endpapers. The volume is bumped on the corners, lightly exposing the boards, has some mild staining on the spine, and there is some fore-edge soiling extending briefly into the margins.
