Padded leather over boards, front cover has three reproductions of color illustrations stamped on, blind stamped lettering and design on front cover, gilt stamped title on spine, all edges speckled, copy number 733 of 7500 copies, end papers have vignettes of the ten illustrators featured in the book (Norman Rockwell, James Montgomery Flagg, Frederic Remington, Maxfield Parrish, N. C. Wyeth, Howard Pyle, Howard Chandler Christy, Charles Dana Gibson, John Held Jr., J. C. Leyendecker), two gold foil stamped reproductions of Remington prints (The Stampede and The Scalp) laid in loose, tipped in color frontispiece, Chronology, Selected Bibliography, Index, 185 color plates, 231 black-and-white illustrations, 311 pages. Spine is faded, light to moderate wear at corners and spine ends, small spots on front cover, back cover lightly scuffed; The Stampede is creased at both bottom corners. Quantity Available: 1.
