Houghton Mifflin Company. Near Fine. 1917. Hardcover. 7-volume set in 8 hardcover books (Volume 7 contains two books) A complete set as issued of this "Standard Library Edition - Second Series." Sturdy green cloth, top edges gilt, each volume contains illustrations with the original tissue-guards, the copyright pages contain various publishing dates but this is a matching set, all of the books are in excellent condition with minimal rubbing to the corners of the cloth, Volume 2 has a few small tan blemishes on the rear cover, Volume 3 has a short edge-tear on page 5 which does not affect the text, the flaws are minor, this is a very clean, attractive set .
