New York: The Sagamore Press, 1938. Probable First Edition. Hardcover. Good/No jacket. 258 pages plus index, illustrated with black and white photographs and charts. Seabiscuit is Horse of the Year. Brick brown cloth binding with gilt titles on front cover and spine, illustrated end papers. Heavy wear to cover with darkening, scuffs, corners and spine ends bumped, some spotting, "Tex" written in ink on bottom front free end paper, some tanning of interior pages, binding tight.
