This volume represents the accumulation of material collected after the publication of the fourth edition of "The American Language" in 1936, making this an independent work which stands alone. While supplement I dealt with material related to the first six chapters of "The American Language", this present volume collects material that relates the the other chapters Seventh printing. No previous ownership marks. A very clean, square, fresh copy in complete dust-jacket. Fine in a very good+ dust-jacket.. Later Printing. Cloth. Fine/Very Good+. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
