[5]-6 pages, 14 leaves, 26 colored plates : plans. Scattered spotting. Samuel Sloan as an important 19th century American architect. Trained as a carpenter, Sloan transitioned to architecture in 1851. Sloan was a particularly prolific writer and contributed plans to Godey's Lady's Book. Hitchcock 1187.
