First U.S. printing, same date on the title and copyright pages. Bumped and rubbed with wear to the lower front corner. Damp stain to the rear board, showing on the upper and fore edges of the last 30 pages. Boards a bit bowed, spine cocked and lightly sunned. Front hinge loose, rear cracked, previous owner's name on the front end paper.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair/No Jacket.
