Pictorial d/w, small tear to head of spine. 497 pp. Profusely illustrated in colour and black/white, illustrations of 491 pieces with complete descriptions covering maker, place of origin, size, materials, dimensions, details of design and most important an evaluation of the merits of each piece. 127 illustrations of inlays in full colour with explanations as to how they can be used to identify a piece of Federal Furniture. 21 room settings.
