About This Item
New York: Wilfred Funk, Inc., 1954. 3rd Printing. Near fine in decorated tan cloth covered boards with a 1/16 inch closed tear to the cloth at the head of the spine. A small quarto measuring 9 3/4" tall by 7" deep. In a very good+ dust jacket with the price intact and with 1/8" deep chips across the upper edge of the spine area and with a 1/4" deep chip at the upper edge of the front panel. One of Eric Sloane's earliest books dealing with Americana. This one is a classic as it includes his now famous sketches of barn and covered bridge details that no one else has illustrated as well or as thoroughly.
