Garden City, NY: Doubleday, Doran & Company Inc., 1933. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Good-. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. See photos for condition details. Hardcover with dust jacket. Stated first edition on the copyright page. DJ is heavily worn and soiled with large tear and creasing along the front top edge. Front flap contains a blue piece of tape which was used to cover the last paragraph explaining the industries and the Recovery Act. Front end page has a tipped in letter from The Chemical Foundation of New York. Blue cloth boards are clean though gilt on spine has partially worn away. Internal binding is good and text pages are tight, no signatures or personal bookplates present, no library markings. Pages are tone due to age and some minor foxing is present.
