Book is near Fine, a well made book, two toned hardcover: light brown paper boards with tan cloth spine, very clean, nice paper title label on spine. two tiny light stains on foredge else fine. Book is tight and square with No previous owner bookplate or writing, top edge gilt. Color frontis caricature of Thackeray and Dickens, illustrated with black and white photographs and illustrations throughout. 373 pages including index. A very clean and most presentable edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
