Philadelphia: Macrae-Smith Company, 1920. Octavo. 121 pages. Color pictorial half-title and other charming illustrations in color and in black and white by Susan Beatrice Pearse. One of the popular children's series and the adventures of Ameliar Anne who in this small book has a poor mother who took in washing but her green umbrella becomes the center of her life which after some small misadventures ends happily. Bound in green cloth, color illustrated pastedown, spine lettered in black, wear to corners and spine ends, color pictorial endpapers, previous owner's gift inscription. A very good copy.
