The Seminal Book on Portugal's Master Architect. When Álvaro Siza, one of the great figures of contemporary architecture, won the prestigious Pritzker Prize in 1992, the Jury described his forms as "molded by light, [with] a deceptive simplicity about them; they are honest. They solve design problems directly."
Born in Matosinhos, Portugal, in 1933, Siza's work reveals a subtle mastery underlying what appears to be natural creations. His architectural forms, seemingly straightforward, belie a deeper complexity. From the Boa Nova restaurant in Leça da Palmeira to the Alhambra visitor center in Spain, this comprehensive monograph showcases Siza's remarkable career, including projects like the Portuguese Pavilion for Expo '98 in Lisbon and the Iberê Camargo Foundation Museum in Brazil. The book, realized in close collaboration with the architect, provides a full catalog of his work to date, celebrating his enduring impact on the world of architecture.

International shipments are double boxed with shipping paperwork attached to the outside of the box using a special envelope. And a complete duplicate of all the paperwork packed inside the outer box in case the attached set wanders off.
