London : Archibald Constable , 1895 . Third Edition . VG . 8VO . Bound in green cloth over brown cloth spine, gilt tiltling on cover and spine. 100 black and white illustrations by M'Cormick. This copy with a very attractive gift inscription on the FFEP consisting of a well-executed ink drawing of a mountain scene. Laid in is a brochure and letter from Lakeland Mountain Guides, the letter being dated 1935 and signed by A B B Sutcliffe, the chief guide. Rear hinge cracked, edgewear and soiling, tears at spine extremities.
