Von Tempski was the author of several books on Hawaiian Islands. This is "The story of one who was born in Paradise". Von Tempski's autobiographies and novels were based on her early life among the Hawaiian cowboys (paniolos) on the Haleakala cattle ranch atop the Haleakala shield volcano. A great read.
