New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1922. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good. 274 pp, with index, map endpapers, 95 illustrations from photographs, tinted frontispiece from a photo by Ernest E. Lorillard. Bound in blue cloth with mounted color illustration. Small chip to illustration, corners lightly bumped, bookplate of J. Elmore Turrell on verso of front free endpaper, as well as a brief penciled gift inscription to Turrell on the facing page. Binding tight, contents clean. No dust jacket. Account of Commodore Arthur Curtiss James' eight-month cruise aroud the world in his barque-rigged 218-foot, 659-ton, sail and steam yacht. Includes much content on the Far East.
