The text is illustrated with copious black and white photographs, historical illustrations and line drawings. Dark pink coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Photographic dustwrapper with yellow and white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Black and white photograph of author to the rear fold over panel. The title says it all  from across the world and across time criminals, trials, lawyers and murderers etc. are catalogued. Rubbing of the book edges with some softening of the back strip edges. Age toning and foxing of the text block edges; end pages with very light age toning of the pages. Purple coloured remainder splatter to the lower text edge. Some rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels with some chipping along the back strip edges. Sunning and handling marks to the rear panel. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [13], 2 - 452 pages,.
