Philadelphia & New York: First edition Sextodecimo (6.25" x 4"), 52 pages, with frontis illustration Publisher's royal blue cloth elaborately lettered & decorated in gilt & blind, this a presentation binding with a pictorial device in gilt on the upper cover depicting a winged angel on a cloud holding a bible with "CHURCH OF THE EPIPHANY SUNDAY SCHOOL DECEMBER 1858, PRESENTED BY THE RECTOR" below. The front free endpaper features an additional manuscript presentation in ink to Cora M Potterfield dated December 25th, 1870
Edges & joints lightly rubbed, covers briefly spotted, text toned & occasionally foxed, otherwise Very Good
