About This Item
Spokane, Washington: Arthur H. Clark Company, 2003. Number 493 of 500 . Hardcover. New/None (as issued). The work is in the series Hidden Springs of Custeriana- XIII. Much of the mystery and controversy surrounding the battle of the Little Bighorn has as its foundation in the fact that there were no survivors-no white survivors, that is, there were, however, hundreds of Indian survivors, some of whom preserved their recollections of the battle in pictographic drawings. This study discusses sixty-one Sioux, Cheyenne, and Crow pictographic drawings of the battle. A very nice pristine copy; available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box.
