About This Item

Simon and Schuster, 1974. 1st Edition . Hardcover/Hardback. Fine/Good. Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Fine text with blue boards and silver letters on spine, with title on front board (blue indentations). Crisp and clear. Dust jacket has tears and missing pieces at the top and bottom and chipping. No number line or "First Edition" stated, which is how first editions of Simon and Schuster books were treated from 1937-1973, with some exceptions beyond then (this was published in early 1974). There is no price on the dust jacket, which may indicate a BOMC, but that is unlikely because the S&S BOMC editions were labeled as such (this is not labeled that way). It seems to be a true first edition of this classic and seminal work.
