Presentation copy, inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper, "To Thomas Kaufman with thanks for your work in this whole course! All my good wished Gerda W. Klein Apr. 1962." With a letter from Ms. Klein's assistant stating that this has been sent to the recipient at the request of M. Weissman Klein. Near fine in a very good dust jacket. Jacket design by Leo Manso.
