New York: Harcourt, Brace and Company, 1946. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Early Printing with [f*11*46] on the copyright page. Very Good in a Good jacket, generally toned and soiled, chipped at the edges and with a few short closed tears. Blue buckram, bumped at the corners, with light blue ink lettering on the spine. Square and firmly bound, toned at the endpapers, clean otherwise. The novel went on the win the Pulitzer Prize for literature and was listed by TIME as one of the 100-best novels since 1923.
