First edition; 4to; 56 illustrations, 12 in colour, including colour frontispiece, light even age-toning to leaves; publisher's blue cloth, gilt lettering to spine, slight rubbing to extremities, with the unclipped pictorial dustjacket, some edge wear, rear panel chipped with loss, slightly soiled, otherwise a very good copy.
A very good first edition in the original unclipped pictorial dustjacket of Sven Berlin's celebrated study of Alfred Wallis, completed shortly after Wallis' death in 1942.
