Columbus, Ohio,: Ward Brothers,, 1888 Ward Brothers, Columbus, Ohio, 1888. 12 pages ( 5 1/2 x 4 3/4 inches a panel) panorama of scenes along the Pennsylvania Railroad. Oblong 24mo. Panorama, along with a folding map on lightweight map paper 8.5" x 10.5" with 1 repaired (professional) seam split. The map was part of the book as the original glue strip can be seen along the inside edge of the rear cover, other copies may be missing this rare map. also; Among the scenes is the station in Jersey City with a view of the Hudson and New York, the ferries between Jersey City and New York, the railroad bridge crossing the Raritan River, Pennsylvania Station in Philadelphia, Independence Hall, Bryn Mawr Hotel, station and some residences, the bridge crossing the Susquehanna River 6 miles west of harrisburgh, Lewiston narrows, Jacks Narrows, Horse Shoe Curve, view near Bolivar, scene at Allegrippus, Spruce Creek Tunnel, in the Pack Saddle, Pittsburgh railroad Station, view of Pittsburgh and Allegheny City. Original Red cloth-backed boards, front cover stamped in gilt with title in center, rear cover stamped in blind, center blank. Some lmild to moderate edge and corner wear especially along the spine are seen, accordion block and map are disbound. 12 pages ( 5.5" x 4.75") panorama of scenes along the Pennsylvania Railroad. Oblong 24mo. Very scarce with original map.
